Character dining: where, how much and how far ahead

At Disneyland Paris, eating with characters is above all a question of diary: there are few tables, they are booked months ahead, and the experience varies a good deal by venue. This is what there is inside the two parks today.

Auberge de Cendrillon (Fantasyland, inside the castle grounds) is the most sought-after character meal in the resort: a full linen table, a multi-course French menu, and visits from Disney princesses during service — Cinderella, Belle and Rapunzel are among those most often mentioned. It is booked through the Disneyland Paris website or app, and the window opens about two months before the date, the same general rule Disney applies to the rest of the resort's bookable restaurants. Tables on the most sought-after dates sell out within minutes of the window opening, so if this is your priority, note the date and book the moment it opens — not on the day you arrive at the park. The price is around €100 per person.

The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, in World of Frozen (Disney Adventure World), is the 2026 addition: it opened on 29 March along with the themed land itself, looks out over the castle of Arendelle, and Anna and Elsa come through during service. The price is similar, around €100 per person, with a multi-course tasting menu. The booking window follows the same pattern as the rest of the resort's bookable restaurants: about two months before the date.

Character Dining at Plaza Gardens Restaurant (Main Street), for years the most accessible way to eat with Mickey and friends, has been closed for refurbishment since 31 March 2026. Disneyland Paris has announced it will reopen in early 2027, after a complete renovation of floors, façades and ceilings — with no exact day announced yet. If this was your plan, it is not an option inside the park today — we say so here so you do not go looking for it on site and lose time.

There is more character dining in the Disney hotels and in Disney Village, but it falls outside what we handle: the Route only builds the day around bookings inside the two parks. If you have a hotel or Disney Village booking, tell us in your client area — we note it and adjust your park entry and exit times around it, even though the restaurant itself will not appear as a stop on the Route.

In your client area, the Your meals section is where this becomes a real itinerary: a confirmed booking fixes the exact time and place, and the rest of the day is built around it — it is the single thing that changes a Route most, so the sooner you have it, the better everything else fits.
