The parade: times and where to stand

Disneyland Park's daytime parade is Disney Stars on Parade and, in a normal season, it runs twice a day along Main Street, U.S.A. to Central Plaza. The exact route and the times of each showing are confirmed in the app each season, so we do not give them as fixed here: your Route places them using the real times for the day you are there.

Where you stand matters more than it looks, because not every point on the route fills at the same rate. The stretches closest to Central Plaza and to the end of Main Street usually fill before the further ones, simply because they are what most people see first on entering the park. As a general rule: the closer to the end of the route, the earlier you need to be there for a good spot.

A seasonal warning, important if your dates fall between late September and early November: during the Halloween Festival (26 September – 1 November 2026), Disney Stars on Parade pauses and is replaced by a seasonal parade, Mickey's Halloween Celebration, running along Main Street and Central Plaza. Disney confirms the time of each particular showing in the app a few weeks ahead, as with the usual parade. It is a pattern that repeats every year at this resort — the usual parade also pauses for several weeks around Christmas, with a gap of a few days between the end of Halloween and the start of Christmas in which, judging by previous years' pattern, the usual parade does not come back either — so if your trip falls in one of those windows, what you see will not be exactly the parade described above, although the gap in the day is filled just the same by the seasonal alternative.
