FOOD
Bringing your own food in
What Disney lets you bring, where to eat it inside, and what to do with the cool bag.
You can take your own food into both parks. The general rule is simple: food for yourselves —sandwiches, fruit, snacks— and drinks in plastic bottles or cartons, no glass and no alcohol. What is not allowed are large cool boxes or complete picnic hampers — Disneyland Paris does not publish a limit in centimetres or litres, the rule is qualitative: nothing that needs its own trolley or table. There are drinking water fountains around both parks for refilling a reusable bottle, so there is no need to carry litres of water in from outside.
Inside the park you can eat what you have brought on any bench, rest area or table that does not belong to a restaurant — you do not have to buy anything to sit down in most of those areas. If what you want is a full picnic with a cloth and chairs, the area meant for that is outside the paid area: there is a picnic area between Disney Village and the main car park. If you leave the park to eat there and want to come back in the same day, check you have with you the same ticket you came in with — same-day re-entry is a general resort rule for any kind of one-day ticket, not an exception for some of them.
For the rest of the day, if you are carrying something you would rather not take on every attraction —the small cool bag, the picnic bag— the park lockers are the usual answer: you pay per use and can put things in and take them out several times during the day. It is not part of what your Route plans —like bookings outside the park, it is your own logistics— but it is worth bearing in mind if the day's plan includes a long stop to eat what you brought.
This part is fixed as soon as your Route is generated, so that the itinerary in your hand and the details it was built from are the same. If you need to change something, write to us: we'll adjust it and generate it again.
