The night-time shows, park by park

What is on each night in each park, where to watch from, and how early to arrive.

Each park closes the night with its own show, one per park per night: if you are in a single park that evening, that is your night-time show.

In Disneyland Park it is Disney Tales of Magic, on the façade of Sleeping Beauty Castle: fireworks, projections and drones. Right now the castle has work going on at the bridge (from May to the end of September 2026), so the show runs without the usual fountain sequence, offset by new pyrotechnic sequences while the work lasts.

In Disney Adventure World it is Disney Cascade of Lights, over the lake at Adventure Bay: water drones, fountains and 360° pyrotechnics. Here the viewing is spread all round the lake rather than facing one front, so — unlike a castle show — there is no "best spot", there are several good ones.

How early to arrive. On a normal day about 30 minutes is usually enough for both. In high season that figure rises: we have found guides quoting 40-45 minutes on peak dates (Halloween weekend, Christmas) for Cascade of Lights, and a similar margin for Tales of Magic in the middle of July and August, when Central Plaza fills earlier than usual. Your Route uses a single reference figure for each show all year round; if your dates fall in high season, add that extra margin yourself.

An important warning about Tales of Magic. Disney only confirms its exact time for each night at very short notice — usually between 6 and 10 days ahead, against the several weeks of notice the rest of the park is known by. If your Route is generated further ahead than that, we may not be able to print an exact time for Tales of Magic that day. It is not a mistake on our part and not a sign the show will not happen: it is that Disney had not published it yet when we prepared your document. The fix is simple: check the official Disneyland Paris app a day or two before you go and confirm that night's showing there.

During the Halloween Festival (26 September – 1 November 2026), Disneyland Park also adds a new piece in front of the castle, "A Nightfall with Disney Villains" — a villain-themed preshow with projections, which Disney has programmed at every Halloween edition since 2022 just before the main show. While the bridge works last it is to be expected that it leans more on pyrotechnics than on the castle's usual fountains, like the rest of the night-time show — but Disney had not detailed the 2026 edition as at this review. If your trip falls on those dates, count on that extra showing in the evening's plan.
